Just an update

Meghan had a "photo shoot" yesterday at Gerry Raymonda's. The man is INCREDIBLE! We picked up the DVD with the proofs today and they came out so beautifully. His assistant even printed out a few for us to look at and I can't wait to get the rest of them.

She's loving her Aquarium Swing. She didn't like it too much at first, but these last few days she's really taken to it.

She slept for 6 hours in a row the last two nights! WOO HOO! I'm so excited (not to mention feeling a little more rested). Now if only I could get more of the things I want to do done, I'd be happy.

We went for lunch with Angie today - she decided to puke all over herself (Meghan, not Angie...though she did get some puke on Angie...whoops)...this is after we had already changed her outfit once for ... ummm ... "other" reasons. Then we went and picked up the proofs and looked at some modulars.

Meghan decided to try winking yesterday - it was TOO CUTE! I have a picture of it, but it's not downloaded yet, so you'll have to deal with the ones above...they're taken exactly one month apart - I can't believe the difference!

First Easter

Here are two pictures from Meghan's first Easter...it went really well. Meghan and I spent the night at Mom and Dad's and she got to sleep in her crib for the first time - it went incredibly! Now if only her room were finished, she could sleep in it every night and I might actually get to sleep in my own bed for once...

ANOTHER Dr's Appointment

Well, Meghan was fussy as all get out on Sunday evening...we looked her over and her belly was quite distended and she hadn't pooped in awhile... We called the pediatrician and he told us to give her prune juice with water. It worked by Tuesday. Thinking that whatever was clogging her had passed, we stopped the prune juice. Wednesday night she was acting fussy again and you could tell she was in pain...so we started the prune juice again...she hadn't pooped by this morning so we called the pediatrician who told us to bring her in.

She has a temp of 100.0...borderline fever. She gained another pound...she's now up to 10lbs 5.4oz. The Dr looked at her belly and did an exam and concurred that she was constipated (duh)...he told me to continue with the prune juice (once a day) and to add mylicon to each of her feedings... If in a week all is well, then we'll continue with that - if not, she'll go back in and they'll consider changing her formula again...

(A little funny from the Dr's office, OK, that I at least found funny...she has been incredibly gassy (loud and smelly, *sigh*)...well, she got the hiccups while we were there and after each hiccup she would fart...it was hysterical. What I think made it all the more entertaining to me was that she slept through the whole thing!)

Gassy Baby!

What a gassy baby, Meghan is. We're on our second box of Mylicon in as many weeks. Tonight was the worst by far... Thankfully, after a call to the pediatrician (once we saw how distended her poor belly was) all is good. (Turns out the kid likes prunk juice...whodathunkit?)

She's getting more and more alert...it's really amazing.

I bought the stuff to make her birth announcements. I just couldn't find anything premade that I liked that didn't cost an arm and a leg.
