Day 2
Today is Day 2 of our trip...Meghan woke up at a pretty reasonable hour and was very disappointed when she couldn't follow grandpa into the bathroom...she spent the time kicking at the door...

The view from our hotel room (sorry about the power lines)

We went to a drive thru safari and it was great! Meghan had so much fun... We had an overzealous ostrich, however, that helped himself to Mom's bucket of food - while it was still in her lap!

The petting zoo portion

It was all too exciting for her...hehehe

Then we hit the Blue Ridge Parkway

We got to the cabin a little after 6 and Meghan wasted no time exploring...

Not sure if you can read the picture, but it was 104 degrees IN THE SHADE when we got there...
