River St was evacuated, so Meghan and Grandma went to her Great-Grandma's...we couldn't have gotten them out of Oneonta if we tried due to road conditions, accidents, water levels, etc. Not even 1 hour away at her Grandma and Grandpa's, the weather was perfect. She should be allowed back at the house after 6am tomorrow morning.
Pictures to follow...

First BooBoo

Meghan got her first booboo last night. I was sitting on a chair on my parents new deck and she kept reaching for the ground. I sat her down on the ground and leaned her back (probably at about a 45 degree-50 degree angle)...all of a sudden, she decided she needed to be somewhere else and literally "threw herself" forward. She face planted on the deck. Not a real big deal...unless you ask her, that is. I think we have quite the drama queen on our hands. She milked it for all it was worth. You would have thought that someone punted her off of the deck! Her reaction was actually quite entertaining as my Dad and I could tell she wasn't hurt, just milking it. She settled down a little just in time for her Grandma to come up the driveway - at which point she started all over again...hey, she knows who to play! (smile) She was fussy allllllll night, even in the car which normally settles her.
These are pictures from this morning... You can barely see the mark on the left side of her nose...but it's there.

A Sequence of Events...
The evacuation the day prior apparently was too much for Ms. Meghan...one moment she was leaning against the pillow of the couch...next thing I know, MJ's calling me back into the room with the video camera...here's what I found:

Sorry it's been so long!

It's been just a little crazy. I went back to work on June 6th...happy to be back, but miss putting Meghan to bed at night and having those few extra hours with her.
She was baptised on June 11th... That is where the above pictures came from. We had a little get-together at Mom and Dad's afterwards (thanks again, guys) and it was nice to see everyone...Katie drove up from FL (which I still think she's on crack for driving) so I got to see her too...which was very nice.
Meghan's sleeping through the night now...which is great. She goes to bed around 8-9:00 and is up at 7. She's still on the prune juice and gas drops...and we've added Prevacid and Cereal and it's all working wonders...she still has bouts of crying, but she's back to her happy self again...(most of the time). :-)
