Day Care

Today was my first visit to "day care"...Mommy wanted to work out at the gym so she dropped me off at their day care with a woman named Olga. She was really nice and I didn't even cry! I had a fun day and will be going back a lot in the next 10 days. I was smiling and laughing (and cooing) with Olga like we were old friends when Mommy came to get me.

Follow Up Appointment

Meghan had her follow up appointment today after her Double Ear Infection and Sinusitis...All clear!

Finally, A SIPPY CUP!!!

OK, so it's half sippy cup, half straw...the bigger deal though is that SHE'S USING IT!!

'February Fury'

Or so they've been calling it. Valentine's Day was marked with quite the snowstorm...to the point that Mommy wasn't allowed to drive to work - they picked her up!

Here's the snow we could see from the front door:







After the storm passed, we got some video...this was taken out of the computer room window...the blue car is Grandma's car...the snow hadn't been removed yet. The white pole you see sticking up? That's what used to be the car port! The rest of the driveway was pretty much cleared by Grandma and Daddy.

Mommy, Daddy and Grandma took me out on my sled today - as you can see, I didn't care for it much. It's TOO COLD!

When she does it...

she does it all the way. Ms. Meghan has a double ear infection AND sinusitis. 1 of the 3 apparently wasn't good enough for our little over-achiever. Our Ped saw her yesterday morning (yes, on a Sunday, did I tell you I LOVE our Ped?) and found that the Right ear is badly infected, the Left ear is mildly infected and diagnoses the sinusitis. She's now on Augmentin two times a day, Dimetapp every 6 hours as needed, Tylenol and Motrin (rotated) every 6 hours. The Augmentin is for 10 days...the Dimetapp/Motrin/Tylenol cocktail ends when we think it should. The poor thing is miserable, though she is better today than she has been in a few days. She still doesn't want to lay down, but will for a few hours at a time.

It's just one step, but it's a start! Scott saw her take 2, but we only got 1 on the camera...

Like A Big Girl...
