*sigh* So this morning I had a message to call my OB's office. I call and talk to Diana (one of the best nurses you could ever have) and ask her what's going on, because lately she only calls with bad news. :-) She apologizes and says that she begged the Dr not to make her call me because yet again? More bad news. Not horrible, but not what I was looking for... Turns out when the U/S tech kept saying "you sure this doesn't hurt?" it was because there are quite a few stones in my gallbladder. Enough is enough. It was tolerable to have the Pregnancy Induced Hypertension...it was annoying to find out about the Gestational Diabetes...but now my Gallbladder?! WTF?! I have a surgical consult on the 8th of February at 10am...here in Oneonta. Diana feels that they'll wait until after Meghan gets here...I'm hoping she's right.
On the flip side, I saw the nutritional counselor who yelled at me for not eating enough food...she also made me feel like I'm already a bad mother because I drink ONE soda a day (that my Dr said was OK)... "Did you know that one juice glass worth of soda can raise your blood sugar 50pts? Think of what that does to your baby!" Gee - just the thing to tell to the hormonal pregnant woman who already has enough on her plate. I had a mini breakdown on the way home and now just feel like calling into work, crawling into bed and sleeping for hours.
10 more weeks...10 more weeks...10 more weeks... :-\
